Friday, 2004 What happened on Good Friday was wonderful and beautiful; it transformed everything. And yet, close up, it was surely messy and frightening and bloody and awful. This quilt tries to capture both the beauty (from a distance) and the horror (up close) of that wonderful, terrible day.
